I'm not dead yet !

Some people would tell me to pack my bags and go home. You're over 30- its too late to do anything in the entertainment industry- or at the very best, my time to "make it" is running short. Thats a load of horsepucky! While its true, I may never be a household name such as spatula, I WILL make it. Because I'm not the kind of person to give up easy. The truth is, I've already made 3 albums, released a vinyl single, have appeared on countless write ups, and even wrote a theme song for a popular talk show in Charlottesville. I have played The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville , TN to hundreds of people, sang in front of the Polo Cup of America vs Italy in front of thousands, and have a small, but loyal fan base in Virginia. Most noteably, in August, 2005, Pete Humes wrote a feature article about me in The Richmond Times-Dispatch. A full page spread- right adjacent to some blurb about Jason Mraz. The thing is, I'm just not the type of artist you would turn on mainstream clear channel radio and hear a tune from. That doesn't bother me one bit. As I have discovered, my life at 30 is just beginning.

The truth is, while I have been performing music and acting since I was in diapers, I have only been actively been pursuing a career since 2002. Thats a mere seven years. And they say on average, it takes at least 10-15 years to make a mark on anything when you're a driven performer. That tells me, that its not over just yet. I feel that if anything, this world doesn't have much longer, regardless of where I go . So, I feel that time for everyone on earth is short now, and I want to make the most of it.

That being said, I can really STAND to get in shape! So what I'm doing now is toning up and trying to trim myself down. My goal is to get down to 200 lbs. Thats another 40 lbs I have to lose. But I know I can do it ! So far I have lost over 60.

My work out regimen consists of:

Eating high protein foods

Exercising 4x a week

I use the fitness center on Tuesdays and Thursdays

I ride my bike on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays.

Sundays are my "day off" where I can eat anything and everything I want!

The Lord has been very good to me. I just know that when my self entitled LP comes out next year, it will be the start of something really nice.

"it seems like you have posted this exact same thing before."

This is his way of trying to convince himself these statements are true.

Interesting to see how the diet goes since he is pretty much going to binge eat every Sunday.

Thats because they are true. I write the truth. You write lies.

You're doing great with the weight loss Meade. You look great too.

Most artists become famous in their twenties, sorry dude, you are condemned to making smoothies for the rest of your life. Look on the bright side, you can be manager one day. LOL loser!!!!

Yes, and then they fade away to obscurity, or drop dead on the toilet. I was in my 20s less than 3 weeks ago.

Don't listen to comments of fools, Meade. Their pearls are a bunch of crap. Each of us gets a chance to begin again each day. No one knows — or can predict — the future for another.

I don't see them posting their dreams for everyone to see, only deriving an sad pleasure from mocking yours.

There were a couple of guys at Columbia University in the '60s who were called losers. No one liked their music, people told them they would never make it, to find something useful to do with their lives.

Their names are Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.

Im experimenting with different templates. I havent decided which one I like best so far. Jellyfish was what I used for quite awhile. Hmm.. Maybe I should do a poll among my readers, lol

Thanks, Wahokia. I appreciate it. I let people speak their opinions here, as long as no bad language is used.
