Having some fun with an old couch .......

This is my "old red couch" photo shoot. It will probably be used for when I release "We Talk In Circles". My look is much more Pop than Country in this one. But this is one of my signature styles! The couch seemed a bit nasty and smelly , but I couldnt resist it when I saw in the parking lot out back behind our house. Hope nothing died in it..

Today I had go shopping for some threads I got a pair of slacks and a black shirt from Target. Then I needed a new pair of swim trunks because my other ones kept falling down on me in the swimming pool! I hope I didn't scare that elderly couple in the middle lane the other day... So anyways, I decided to go for a more vintage plain looking pair. I got them from Dillard's At Short Pump. To my surprise, I wear a medium now. The elastic waist band is what does the trick! I hope I can lose another 20 lbs this summer. Then Ill be around 224 lbs and only 24 lbs from my ideal weight. I'm only 5'11, but I'm built like a football player.

you look like Warren from "There's Something About Mary"

The jacket looks way too big. you should have spray painted Meade on the dumpster, or the track title

There's no way that a medium swimsuit looks normal on you. I only weigh 150lbs and I wear a medium.

Maybe at 150 lbs you look normal. I would be grossly thin at 5'11 and 150 lbs. But anyways, yeah you know swim trunks have elastic waist. My waist size is about 34.5" Actually it fits perfectly. Dont be jealous, lol. When I get down to 200 lbs, Ill probably be able to easily fit into a 32 inch waist or so. You may have more body fat even at 150 lbs. Muscle weighs more than fat.

I'll take pictures to prove it.
I dont look like that guy from TSAM, I look more like Postie from Happy Days.

a chubby potsie perhaps. I wear size 32 but I like it to fit loose. I bet those size 34's are busting at the seams.

No. They aren't lose, but they fit fine. Probably when I lose 10 more lbs they will be my ideal size for now. Anything 36 or above is swimming on me now. The jacket is too big because its a 46. I now comfortable am a 42 R.

The title of this post made me cringe at first.

There was a photographer a number of years back who trotted a red couch all over the globe. He photographed it outside a palace in Budapest, with an elephant in Thailand, even on an ice flow either in the Arctic or the Antarctic. Maybe you're on to something here, Meade. You might be able to work this into your act.

Maybe I can bring a red chair. That would be easier.

The red couch is disgusting, especially since it's sitting by a dumpster and you are hanging out with it.

Forgive me if this sounds trite, but that's just NASTY! Dude, someone or something could have pissed on that thing and you're just hanging with it.

If there was an award for nastiest album cover, the Grammy goes to you!

All that matters is that I look good doing it !

Where do you go swimming at?

Meade Skelton said...

I swim at Zacharias Ganey Health Club on Palmyra Ave. Only 3 lanes and 5 feet deep, because mostly the old folks have to use it. And its always very warm in the pool. I can't figure that part out..

Old folks are incontinent, Meade, that's why the pool is hot. Did you know the City of Richmond offers all its residents free use of its pools? perhaps you could swim there.

I am sure there is one near you!

I'm not sure how clean or safe public pools in Richmond are. Might step on some glass or something. There's a place called Hadad's Lake out in Eastern Henrico. You have to pay to get in, so it keeps it nice and clean.
