Today Gretchen and I went to Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield County to see about using their swimming pool. Gretchen didn't really want to swim, so she just tagged along for the ride. I brought along my swim suit, hoping to do some laps in an Olympic Sized pool and get a good work out. To my dismay, they didn't really have a pool, but more of water park of some sorts, and what appeared to be mostly kids and their parents. Well, I figured since we trekked out there, we should as well use it. I felt a tad self conscious in my skimpy outfit, and all those skinny life guards were kinda snickering at me. But what else could I do? There were people 3x my size, and they were having the time of their lives ! So anyways, here's some pics of my dip in the pool. They had a lot of fountains and such, and a water slide. I didnt go through the slide, because I was afraid I would get stuck in that... The pool was right crowded, and I felt a little silly being a nearly 6 ft tall man weighing over 240 lbs and in the kiddie lanes, but on a hot day, this was a nice way to relax.
Here I am soaking up some of the rays

I hope my swimsuit isn't too revealing. Showing a lot of skin is not my style !

Time to dry off that wet fanny !

What fun that was! Afterwards, I worked up an appetite, so we stopped by Taco Bell where I had 2 soft chicken Tacos and a Meximelt with a large sweet tea. I sure do love Taco Bell. Its cheap and affordable, and not too fattening.

What's with the old timey swimming costume?
Old timey? Its the latest in men's fashion. Also I am modest person, and I don't want to flaunt the goods in front of everyone
that is a costume for sure. I passed through Loudoun County on my way to Ohio today. I thought about Meade and his crazy music
Its not a costume. I got the swim trunks at Target, and the tank top from some thrift store online.
What are you doing up in Ohio? Well you probably took Rt 7 over to Winchester and up 1-81 correct? My dad had cousins in Southern Ohio and Kentucky and thats how we went to visit them.
Ooops, I meant to say Dillard's.
